Scholarships

Since its inception in 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s mission  has been to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards,  to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help  alleviate problems concerning girls and women, and to be of “Service to  All Mankind”. Each year, Psi Theta Omega awards scholarships to graduating high school students  interested in pursuing a college degree. In 2017, each recipient will receive $1,000. Scholarship recipients are selected based on their commitment to  education, community and leadership characteristics.
